Earn smart, save consistently and spend wisely!
Discover the secrets of money alongside characters from stories!
Play4FinancialSkills Scouts is an educational game created for children aged 6+, designed to open the doors to understanding the world of money in a fun and engaging way.
Under the guidance of animators, children embark on a learning adventure where, alongside magical characters such as Pinocchio, the Good Fairy, the Bear Craftsman, and Little Red Riding Hood's grandmother, they will face challenges, decisions, and financial choices inspired by everyday life.
What do children learn through play?
To communicate, collaborate, and negotiate as a team
To make informed decisions based on the available budget
To understand the value of money and the difference between needs and wants
To reflect on the consequences of their choices
Develop a sense of social responsibility through moments when they can donate or support other players
How does the game work?
The game is structured as a financial journey, divided into stages of development. The first stop is an imaginary market, where children can shop using the game's currency, Pendo. Each decision is made together with the team and is accompanied by reflection: "Is this a good choice for us?", "Do we really need this item?"
Throughout the game, they will encounter surprise boxes that present them with important choices: to repair or replace, to keep or donate, to help or save. Each choice has consequences: unused items are penalized, and thoughtful behavior is rewarded.
What does this game develop?
Critical thinking and simple reasoning
Team spirit and empathy
Financial responsibility and community involvement
Confidence in one's own decisions and ability to manage a budget
The game also teaches children about social responsibility by putting them in the position of donating or helping others, which could teach them about the importance of getting involved in the community.
